Sodii sources its salt from the ancient Lake Deborah Pure Lake Salt in Western Australia. The lake, over 5 million years old, is devoid of modern contaminants like micro-plastics and air pollution, making it rich in trace minerals.
Lake Deborah’s salt deposits are naturally preserved by the environment, as westerly winds carry dissolved salt minerals from sea spray 500 km inland and deposit them in old river valleys.
The natural process continues as winter rain dissolves the lake’s crust, drawing brine to the surface, and the summer sun evaporates the brine, forming a new crop of salt crystals.
These crystals are harvested from the dried surface of the lake after the brine evaporates, ensuring the purity and quality of Sodii salt.
